At Black’s Male Salon, our skilled team of barbers bring not just years of experience but also a genuine passion for their craft to every cut or beard trim. Our commitment to creating a welcoming but professional atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a high quality cut, style or personal grooming experience.

We are open to appointments or walk-ins (subject to availability). Leith and Polwarth Salons are open 7 days a week, with late opening Tuesday to Friday and 8am opening on Saturday mornings. Thursday nights Leith and Polwarth are both open until 21h. Slateford Road is open Monday to Friday 10h until 19h every day and on Saturdays 8h to 16h.

Extremely patient, good chat, took all the time to help me and my friend figure out what we were wanting, both left looking and feeling really good (my friend especially who basically needed a whole new look. I’m not from Edinburgh, but I stopped in for a cut with Jake while I was in town, and it was one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. He did an excellent job with a skin fade, and had some recommendations for how to cut it a little different than normal so that it would grow out better. I typically cut my hair every 2-3 weeks because I don’t like the way it grows out, but I ended up waiting 8 weeks because of Jake’s suggestions. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Edinburgh.
